MAIB launches it's Business Plan 2011-12
The Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) have this week launched it's Business Plan for the next two years and makes interesting and informative reading.
It explains the changes that are being made to Marine Accident and Incident investigations as a result of updates to the IMO Casualty Investigation Code and the European Directive 2009/18/EC, which will result in an amendment to the MS(Accident Reporting and Investigation) Regs 2005. This amendment is due in June 2011.
