|Use of Kill Cords on boats
The Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) has today issued a Safety Bulletin concerning the fatal accident that occured near Padstow on Sunday 5th May 2013, involving a family being ejected from a Rigid Inflatable Boat.

|Newhaven Port to the rescue of 280m long Pipeline|
GPS Marine Contractors Ltd were in the process of towing a raft of 9 pipes ranging in length from 800m to 240m with the Ocean going Tug Hibernia from Norway to Ghana, when the shortest length of pipe (280m and 2m diameter) took a noticeable deflection indicating that there was water ingress.
